The Delman Chiropractic Center opened in 1964
and since that time has treated over 10,000 satisfied patients.
The Center uses the Gonstead Method of spinal manipulation for all structural problems. For soft tissue, ligament and joint problems, we use the Graston method of therapy, as is used by the majority of professional sports trainers.
The Gonstead Disc Concept was developed by Dr. C.S. Gonstead of Mt. Horeb, WI. and has been recognized as a model for understanding discogenic back pain, by all branches of the healing arts.
Dr. Sheldon Delman studied and worked with Dr. Gonstead from 1966 to 1978 and was instrumental in the videotaping of Dr. Gonstead's work for future generations of Chiropractors. He taught the Gonstead Technique at the Columbia Chiropractic Institute, now called the New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Delman specializes in the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions, including Fibro Myalgia, both adult and adolescent Scoliosis, Sciatica, Chronic low back and neck conditions, Short Leg Syndrome, Low back associated with pregnancy, tennis elbow, and many other related conditions.
Dr. Sheldon Delman was a founding member of the National Gonstead Research Society, and is currently also associated with the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society.
He is a member of the NY State Chiropractic Association.
